It's Alliffia here. This time, I'd like to share my short story entitled The Untold Door, This work was created to fulfill the Final Examination (UAS) assignment. It consists of a short story entitled The Untold Door and its plot analysis using Freytag’s Pyramid.


The Untold Door

EXPOSITION 

A high school girl named Rania who lives with her grandmother. After graduation, she has to return to the city with her parents, and she feels sad. To comfort her, her grandmother gives her an old mysterious book.

RISING ACTION 

When Rania reads the book, a hidden light door appears and brings her into a magical world. There, she meets forest fairies and a small magical creature. They tell her that their world is in danger and that only she can save it.

CLIMAX

A powerful Wicked appears and attacks the magical world. Rania tries to fight, but she almost loses because she doesn’t believe in herself. With support from the fairies, she finally gains confidence and uses her magic to fight back.

FALLING ACTION 

The Wicked becomes weaker and the magical world slowly recovers. The fairies lead Rania back to the light door.

RESOLUTION 

Rania returns home safely. She becomes more confident and realizes that her abilities are valuable.
